This morning, March 5, 2022, at about 10:43am, a family member found Joven Henry (17). It is with extreme sadness, but Joven was found deceased. Family immediately notified the Police Department, who with the Fire Department confirmed the death.
The Investigations Division was called in to preserve the scene and determine what occurred. The scene is located in the hills north of Cement Hill Rd and Clay Bank Rd in Fairfield. Based on the investigation it appears Joven unfortunately took his own life.
While the Police Department is providing this statement so the community is aware, we ask that everyone exercise great respect to the family. Please give them their space and time as they deal with this immense loss.
