On Sunday, March 6, 2022, at approximately 8:30 PM, the Wildwood Police Department responded to a 911 call of a domestic dispute at a residence within our jurisdiction. Upon arrival, officers found the residence in disarray and a victim suffering from physical injuries. The ensuing investigation revealed probable cause to believe that the injures to the victim and the damage to the residence were caused by Nyejai Price, 26, of Wildwood, who had since left the scene.

Price was located by officers a short time later, where he ignored officers’ commands to stop and resisted attempts to place him under arrest. Price was ultimately taken into custody.

Price was charged with Simple Assault (disorderly persons offense), Obstruction of the Administration of Law (disorderly persons offense), and Resisting Arrest (disorderly persons offense). These charges were placed on a warrant complaint and Price was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center in accordance with New Jersey Attorney General Bail Reform Guidelines.
