Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that seriously injured a man in Brentwood this morning.
Steven Flores Diaz was driving a 2000 Ford truck eastbound on the Long Island Expressway when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a guard rail near the welcome center by Exit 51 at 12:56 a.m.
Flores Diaz, 25, of Central Islip, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries.
