Deputies Arrest Intoxicated Man After He Knocked on a Door to a Residence and Requested to be Let In

LOCATION: 4000 Block of Stuveling St., Wrightwood
SUSPECT: Aaron Mendoza, 23-years-old, resident of Wrightwood
SUMMARY:
On Monday, March 7, 2022, at 10:34pm, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a 911 call in the 4000 block of Stuveling Street in Wrightwood.
Aaron Mendoza called his mom and said he was being chased by someone inside his home. Aaron fled his residence on foot, running into the mountainous terrain. Aaron located a residence with a six-foot brick wall and a locked gate. Aaron climbed the brick wall, knocked on the front door, and asked the resident to let him in.
Deputies contacted Aaron at the front door of the residence. Aaron displayed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. He was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center where he was later cite released. He is scheduled to appear in San Bernardino County Superior Court on June 27, 2022, at 8:00am.
