On Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at approximately 0150 hours, the Readington Township Police stopped Donald Thomas (37) out of East Orange, NJ for speeding on Route 78. Thomas was arrested for possession of several ecstacy pills and possession of a baggie of suspected crushed up ecstacy. Thomas was issued a complaint summons for possession of CDS and a motor vehicle summons for speeding, maintenance of lamps, driving while suspended and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
