INCIDENT: PC 273.5(a) - Felony Spousal Abuse
LOCATION: 800 block of Bush Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Hylda Joseph, 39-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department contacted Hylda Joseph near the 800 block of Bush Street during a call for service. Joseph was found to be in violation of PC 273.5(A) - Felony Spousal Abuse. A records check revealed Joseph also had three outstanding warrants for PC 243(E)(1) - Spousal Battery and PC 148.9(A) - False Id to Police Officer.
Joseph was arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Joseph remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a combined bail amount of $105,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
