On March 10, 2022, at 0839 hours, Simi Valley Police Officers responded to Sutter Ave. and Pride St. to check the welfare of a male subject who was slumped over and having difficulty walking. When they arrived, the officers recognized the subject as Brandon Bednarik, a 32-year old Simi Valley resident, who had a felony warrant for his arrest. Mr. Bednarik saw the officers and fled the area. The officers pursued and eventually caught up with him. Mr. Bednarik physically resisted the officers and they utilized a Taser to help apprehend him.
 
Mr. Bednarik was arrested and booked at Ventura County Main Jail for a Felony Warrant, 148(a)(1) PC – Resisting a Peace Officer, and 11377(a) HS – Possession of Methamphetamine.
