Chief Sean Washington recently penned a letter to the Fremont community sharing updates on the significant progress underway within the Fremont Police Department. While we were prepared to send out this update in late February, we paused our efforts due to the unexpected passing of our beloved Police Captain Frederick “Freddie” Bobbitt Jr.
We encourage you to read the letter detailing FPD’s actions to enhance trust, legitimacy, officer development, staffing, community relationships, and ultimately, deepen FPD’s commitment as a forward-thinking police agency.
