GPD has an important message for the community! If you need emergency response, call 911.  Caddo 911 officials will dispatch Greenwood Police Officers to assist inside the Greenwood Corp. Limits. Greenwood Police Officers will no longer answer 318-938-5554 outside of normal business hours. Our officers' safety is important to us and too often they have received emergency calls on the cell phones and cannot respond quickly while talking on the telephone. 911 will be a much more efficient way to dispatch an officer.  If you have an alarm, please contact your alarm company to make sure that they have the non-emergency number for the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office for alarm dispatch outside of normal business hours.
