Weather Alert: Rain/Snow and wind gusts expected today.  Rain is expected in the morning, turning to snow by mid to late morning with potential 2"-4" accumulation . Wind gusts of 40-50 mph possible.  Due to snow accumulation on branches and wind gusts, downed trees and power lines are a possibility as well.

Con Ed customers can report downed power lines, outages, and check service restoration status at www.conEd.com or by calling 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633).

Please do not call the Police Department to report loss of power. This potentially ties up telephone lines available for emergencies and you will be referred to contact Con Ed directly. Treat all downed wires as if they are live. Be mindful that downed wires can be hidden from view by tree limbs, leaves, or snow.

In the event of life threatening emergencies, dial 911. Call North Castle Police at 914-273-9500 for any non-life threatening matters, traffic issues, downed trees, etc.
