INCIDENT: PC 25850(A): CARRYING A LOADED FIREARM IN A PUBLIC PLACE
LOCATION: US Hwy 395/ Bartlett Avenue, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Nathaniel Hernandez, 20-years-old, resident of Adelanto
Omar Villagrana, 22-years-old, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11:28pm, Deputy J. Mora stopped a 2001 Mercedes for California Vehicle Code violations on US Hwy 395 in Adelanto.
During contact with the driver, Nathaniel Hernandez, a strong odor of marijuana was emitting from within the vehicle. Marijuana could be seen inside the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, Deputy Mora located a loaded 38 caliber revolver.
Hernandez and a passenger in the vehicle, Omar Villagrana, were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center. Both suspects were later cite released and are due to appear in court on June 6, 2022, at 8:00am.
