The Fairfield Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 200 Block of East Tabor Ave. Officers responded to reports of gunshots just after 5 am this morning. They arrived and located three gunshot victims near a business. One victim was pronounced deceased on the scene, while the other two were transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Detectives are on the scene gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and working to identify the suspect.
East Tabor Avenue will be closed between North Texas Street and Kidder Avenue until approximately 10 am while Crime Scene Investigators process the scene.
