POLICE OFFICER – BYRAM TOWNSHIP (SUSSEX COUNTY).
The Byram Township Police Department is accepting resumes and applications for the position of Police Officer.  This is a full-time position.  Applicants must possess a current Police Training Commission (PTC) or are currently enrolled in a PTC certified NJ Police Academy Alternate Route program.
 
Requirements include U.S. Citizenship, H.S. Diploma/equivalent, NJ residency and valid NJ Driver's License.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to read, write and speak English language.  Also, must meet the qualifications as specified in N.J.S.A. 40A:14-122.
 
Must successfully pass a medical examination, a thorough personal background check, a psychological examination, physical, oral interview and complete drug and alcohol screening.
