WANTED FUGITIVE ARRESTED: Matthew Donte Young
Young also had an active nationwide no bond warrant issued by the United States Federal Probation Office that was waiting to be served on him for violating his probation.
As part of this investigation, officers learned that Brittany Rose Queen was aware that Matthew Donte Young was a wanted fugitive and that she was involved in Young’s efforts to evade capture by authorities. Queen was arrested for Harboring a Fugitive and transported to the Cleveland County Detention Center.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team transported Young back to the Rutherford County Detention Center where he received a bond of $100,000.00, in addition to the “No Bond” Federal Hold for this federal probation violation.

WANTED FUGITIVE ARRESTED: Matthew Donte Young 
On March 10, 2022, the Spindale Police Department requested the assistance of the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team (C.A.T.) in locating and arresting Matthew Donte Young, a convicted felon.
Spindale Police Department issued warrants for Matthew Donte Young for the following charges:

- Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Discharging a Firearm in the City Limits
Young also had an active nationwide no bond warrant issued by the United States Federal Probation Office that was waiting to be served on him for violating his probation.
After an extensive investigation led by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team and the Rutherford County Narcotics Unit, along with several other law enforcement agencies, Matthew Donte Young was located at a hotel in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, on March 15, 2022.
