Deputies Locate and Arrest Suspect After He Assaulted his Girlfriend in Needles
DATE/TIME: March 15, 2022, at approximately 9:17 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC 273.5(a) Felony Spousal Abuse
LOCATION: 1700 Block of Needles Hwy, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Jermaine Wyman, 24-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at approximately 9:17 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance near the 1700 block of Needles Hwy. When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered the victim had been assaulted by her boyfriend, Jermaine Wyman, during an altercation and fled the scene.
Deputies conducted an area check and located suspect Wyman a short time later. Wyman was arrested for PC 273.5(a) - Felony Spousal Abuse, and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Wyman remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
