LOCATION: 1 Mile North of Pirate Cove

SUMMARY: The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Marine Enforcement Unit will be closing the Colorado River on March 16, 2022, approximately one mile north of Pirate Cove. The river will be completely closed to north and south boat traffic while Bureau of Reclamation completes construction of an underwater pipe across the river. The closure will begin at 11:00 a.m. and is expected to end at 1:00 p.m. Please avoid the area during these times so Bureau of Reclamation can complete their project.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is dedicated to providing a safe boating atmosphere for the public and urges everyone to boat sober and wear their life jackets.
