INCIDENT: VC 10851(A) - Vehicle Theft
LOCATION: North K Street and Smokestack Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Summer Runyon, 25-years-old, Transient of Mohave Valley, AZ
Robert Anderson, 27-years-old, Transient of Mohave Valley, AZ
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at approximately 9:49 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted an area check near N. K Street and Smokestack Dr. reference a stolen vehicle in the area.
A short time later, deputies located the vehicle in the 2100 block of Needles Hwy and conducted a felony traffic stop. A records check confirmed the vehicle was stolen and the driver, Summer Runyon was detained along with the passenger, Robert Anderson. Through investigation, Runyon and Anderson were found to be in violation of CVC 10851- Vehicle Theft.
Runyon was arrested and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $50,000.00. Runyon remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department awaiting a court hearing.
Anderson was also arrested and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $50,000.00. Anderson remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department awaiting a court hearing.
