Rebecca Newman is a Elder Health Aide with the Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association, Inc. She would like to make sure you are aware of the caregiver support programming! Within APIA Elder Care Services, we offer free caregiver support to caregivers who are caring for an older adult, someone with memory issues, someone with chronic health issues, or someone with cognitive impairment. We serve the communities of Anchorage, Nikolski, St.George, Atka, Unalaska, and King Cove. Services include: home visits, resource referrals, one-on-one REACH counseling, caregiver support groups, education, training, and care transition assistance, among others.
