* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following county, Gaston.
* WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 626 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area, especially along Catawba Creek in Gastonia which has risen to 7.5 feet. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Gastonia, Mt Holly, Belmont, Bessemer City, South Gastonia, Dallas, Stanley, Cramerton, Lowell, Ranlo, High Shoals, Mcadenville, Crowders Mountain State Park, Lake Wylie, Crowders and Lucia. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
