DETAILS:  On Satruday March 12, 2022 at 1:02 am, Ptl. Borup and Ptl. LaForge were detailed to 102 Carnegie Center (Hyatt Regency Princeton Hotel) on a report of a suspicious GMC Pickup truck that was on the side of the building.  The truck was parked partially on the sidewalk and had very dark tinted windows.  The driver inside the truck appeared to be sleeping.  The Officers made numerous attempts to knock on the vehicle's windows but the driver was unresponsive.  Finally, the driver, later identified as Rashwan D. Ford, woke up and lowered the driver's window.  Ford was determined to be DWI.  

     Ford was found to be in possession of the following:  a bag labeled "Gorilla Glue" with a greenish vegetation (Marijuana), a stolen Smith & Wesson SD .40 Caliber Handun, a partially consumed Patron Tequila bottle, a (14) Round Capacity magazine, (13) Hollow Point .40 Caliber Rounds, (1) .40 Caliber full metal jacket round in the chamber of the Handgun, and a Desantis Gunhide Holster.

       Ford was placed under arrest for the myriad of criminal charges and being DWI.  The Smith & Wesson had been reported as stolen from Raleigh County, WV.  Ford was currently on Parole from PA.  Ford was charged with a litany of offenses and transported to the Mercer County Workhouse pending future Mercer County Superior Court proceedings.
