Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 03/17/2022 at approximately 2208 hours, his office was called to investigate a single vehicle personal injury crash on M-40 Hwy, south of Pioneer St, Marcellus Township, Cass County Michigan.   

Initial investigation shows that 33-Year Old, Three Rivers resident, Linda Navarro, was traveling south on M-40 Hwy. The vehicle crossed the center lane, left the roadway and crashed into a tree. 34- Year Old, Three Rivers Resident, Felipe Navarro, was the front seat passenger of the vehicle at the time of the crash. Linda and Felipe had to be extricated from the vehicle and were evaluated by Emergency Medical Personnel. Linda was transported by MedFlight to Bronson Methodist hospital. Felipe was transported by Air Care to Bronson Methodist hospital. Seat belts were worn. It is unknown if alcohol, drugs or speed were factors in this crash. This crash remains under investigation.
