The City of Oneonta's water department and it's contractor will be replacing a water valve on Franklin St. near Church St. on Monday, March 21st beginning at 7am.  During this time, a water outage is to be exprected for the area highlighted in red on the attached map. When water is restored, residents may experience a change in water color or pressure.  This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm. Water discoloration should disappear after running a cold-water tap for a few minutes.

All traffic please use caution and obey traffic signs and signals in this area while work is being completed.
