The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Central Covington County in south central Alabama...

* Until 1115 AM CDT.

* At 1023 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles southwest of River Falls, or 7 miles southwest of Andalusia, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Andalusia around 1030 AM CDT. Heath around 1035 AM CDT. Opp around 1045 AM CDT.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COVINGTON, AL
