Alert

Slow down in our Town! Ongoing speed enforcement expected. Please obey the speed limits within Cranbury. Drive Safely!

A message from Chief Michael Owens:

Slow down in our town! Spread the word and let the "Cranbury Crawl" begin.
Cranbury Police are committed to the safety of all the pedestrians, bicyclists, and residents in this community. With the warmer weather upon us, we will begin our heavy traffic enforcement within the village area with the main objective to reduce crashes that result in death and serious bodily injuries.
Our traffic unit will be deploying our message boards and solar speed signs throughout the town within targeted areas. Our concentrated area for the next few weeks will be on Station Road. Our patrol division and traffic units will be conducting speed enforcement looking for violators.
Get the message out!  As residents, you can be good ambassadors of safe speeds by following the speed limit yourself, and by helping spread the message of our continued commitment to strictly enforce the speed limit.
Additionally, with the warmer weather approaching, be wary of unscrupulous contractors soliciting to perform home repair types of jobs such as driveway sealing, roofing, or gutter repairs.   Use due diligence in picking someone to perform house repairs.  Check with the "BBB" to see if the home repair company is registered.   Sign contracts for work to be completed.  Report suspicious incidents to the Police.

Sincerely,

Michael J. Owens
Chief of Police / OEM Coordinator

Instructions:

Drive the speed limit...it's safer and it saves on gas.
