Please be advised, a film production will be filming on Jekyll Island from Sunday, March 20 through Monday, March 28 with temporary closures at several locations on the island as follows:
North Beachview Drive and Bike Path (partial closure) – defined as the road located between Clam Creek Fishing Pier (south) and the main Driftwood Beach parking and beach access (north). Clam Creek Fishing Pier and the Jekyll Island Campground access will remain open to the public. Motorists and cyclists should use alternate routes through Captain Wylly Rd. Detour signs will be posted and a traffic map is attached.
- Closures: 5 a.m. - 9 p.m., March 21 - March 25, 2022
Driftwood Beach (main access), North Trail Loop, and Parking Access – defined as the beach area located south of the Clam Creek Fishing Pier and north of the North Loop Trail (bike path), including the designated Driftwood Beach parking and beach access. The public can still access Driftwood Beach near Clam Creek Fishing Pier or the beach access nearest Villas by the Sea Resort & Conference Center. Cyclists and motorists should plan to use alternate bike paths and beach access points.

Maurice & Claflin Roads – defined as Maurice Road and Claflin Road located off of Beachview Drive.
- Closures: 5:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m., March 20 - April 1, 2022
Oceanview Beach Park Parking Area – defined as the Beach Park parking lot south of the Holiday Inn Resort and north of Tortuga Jack’s Restaurant. Oceanview Beach Park will have north end ADA parking, facilities, and beach crossover access available to the public, but the remaining parking lot will be closed.

North Convention Center Parking Area – defined as the back north quadrant of the Jekyll Island Convention Center, closest to Great Dunes Beach Park. All other Southend parking spaces will remain open for Convention Center group parking.

Please be aware the entry gate to enter Jekyll Island may experience heavier-than-normal traffic beginning March 20 through March 28, 2022, from the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Residents and island employees should plan accordingly.
