Illinois Department of Transportation is alerting motorist to expect delays and temporary road closures in the City of McLeansboro.  Road contstructions crews will be milling and resurfacing IL RT 142 from Golf Course Road to the Courthouse in McLeansboro.  IL 142 north bound and south bound one way streets (Washington Street and Jackson Street) will also be milled and resurfaced.  Motorist traveling these routes should expect delays and temporary road closures.  Motorist are encouraged to plan ahead and seek alternate routes.  As always slow down and watch for construction workers.
