There will be a full-volume test of the Indian Point sirens in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, and Orange Counties on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
This sounding is only a test.
Because this is only a test, the public is not required to respond during the siren's sounding.
PLEASE NOTE: Sirens are not a signal to evacuate. In an actual emergency, the sirens would sound to alert the public to tune in to a local Emergency Alert System (EAS) radio or television station for important information and direction.
