Severe Weather Alert Day, Wednesday, March 23 
Wednesday, March 23rd is Severe Weather Alert Day in Michigan. The purpose of this campaign is to educate our community on how to prepare for severe weather as the summer months approach. Severe Weather Day provides for only one annual weather siren test day. Here in Grosse Pointe Shores we test our system on the first saturday of every month at 1:00 pm. Because of this program we will not be testing our siren Wednesday, March 23rd.
