Clay County in north central West Virginia... Northwestern Fayette County in southeastern West Virginia... Northeastern Boone County in central West Virginia...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 453 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of Chesapeake, or 16 miles east of Madison, moving northeast at 70 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Clay, Montgomery, Chesapeake, Belle, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Pratt, Glen, Birch River, Burnwell, Big Otter, Wallback, Powellton, Harrison, Handley, Nebo and Seth.
