Arrest Made in Child Molestation Investigation, Detectives Seeking Additional Victims

On March 24, 2022, West Covina Police detectives, along with the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force – Team 2, arrested an individual in a child molestation investigation. The suspect, Benjamin Gutierrez, a 57-year-old resident of West Covina, was arrested and booked for 288(a) PC (lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 years old) with a bail amount of $300,000.
