On Thursday, March 24, 2022 at approximately 1547 hours, the Readington Township Police Department was dispatched to Route 22 for a report of an intoxicated male. While the officers approached the male who was later identified as Walt Li  (41) out of Atlantic County, NJ  he fled on foot and ran into traffic. Li was arrested on a $500 criminal warrant out of Wildwood, NJ and issued a warrant for resisting arrest. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
