Incident: Prohibited Person Arrested for being in Possession of Two Firearms

On Friday, March 23, 2022, at approximately 11:37 pm, the Petaluma Police Department and Petaluma Fire Department were dispatched to a call for service at a residence in the 1700 block of Capistrano Drive.
During the investigation, a male subject (identified as Zachary Lucci) was contacted and found in possession of a loaded firearm. The firearm was identified as Glock handgun. During the investigation, it was determined Lucci was prohibited from owning a firearm(s).
A search warrant was later conducted at the residence. As a result of the search warrant, a second Glock handgun was collected along with body armor. Lucci was transported to the Sonoma County Jail and booked for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
