The City of Oneonta’s contractor, Vacri Construction Corp. will be continuing construction on Railroad Avenue near the railroad crossing and in Neahwa Park along David Brenner Drive beginning Monday,
March 28th. The work consists of replacing the sanitary sewer main and new manholes on Railroad Ave and final grading and restoration work in Neahwa Park.

Work will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on weekdays, and is tentatively scheduled to be substantially complete by mid-April and fully complete by the end of April.

While work is ongoing, signs and cones will be placed diverting all vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic from the work areas. The pedestrian path along the Mill Race to the opposite side of David
Brenner Drive will remain closed until the project is completed. In general, normal two-lane vehicular traffic will be maintained, however occasional, minimal time one lane traffic should also be expected.
Please use extreme caution near and around these work zones.

The City of Oneonta will issue periodic updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
