Deputies Seek Identity of Suspect who Pointed a Firearm at Two Victims During Incident at Baseline and Del Rosa

LOCATION: Baseline Street and Del Rosa Avenue in Highland, CA 92346
SUSPECT(S): Unknown Male
SUMMARY: On March 25, 2022, an unknown suspect was in an altercation with the victim at the intersection of Baseline Street and Del Rosa Avenue in the city of Highland. During the altercation, the suspect pointed a black handgun at the victim out of the driver’s side window of his vehicle. The suspect’s vehicle was a late model, black mid-size Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with tinted windows. The victim fled to safety on foot and was later contacted by deputies.
A witness (2nd victim) took photographs during the incident using a cellular telephone. The suspect saw the witness taking photographs of the incident and pointed the handgun at the witness, before fleeing the scene in his vehicle. The witness's photographs were collected as evidence and processed for investigative leads. Deputies and officers from San Bernardino Police Department conducted an extensive search for the suspect, but he was not located.
