Four Arrested for DUI During St. Patrick’s Day DUI Enforcement Operation
Chino Hills, Calif. – Chino Hills/Police Sheriff’s Department arrested four drivers on suspicion of DUI during St. Patrick’s Day on March 17, 2022. In addition, one driver was arrested for driving on a suspended license and 13 drivers were issued traffic citations.
“We are committed to taking impaired drivers off the road,” Deputy S. Chau said. “Driving under the influence is not only dangerous, but also has major consequences.”
Drivers charged with a first-time DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license.
Chino Hills Police/Sheriff’s Department will be holding another DUI enforcement operation on May 5, 2022, to keep our roadways safe.
Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
