Beginning on or about March 28th, Laurel Avenue will be subject to alternating traffic lane closures. 
Due to the March 4th bridge strike that occurred on Laurel Avenue between Holland Road and Route 35 , NJ TRANSIT will be performing necessary and extensive bridge repairs on the North Jersey Coast Line Bridge over Laurel Avenue in the Townships of Holmdel and Middletown. These repairs will require various lane closures along Laurel Avenue for approximately 8 weeks.
- Beginning on or about March 28th, Laurel Avenue will be subject to alternating traffic lane closures.
- Beginning on or about April 11th, Laurel Avenue will be closed to through traffic.
Detours will be clearly marked for both northbound and southbound traffic. Due to anticipated congestion, through-traffic should utilize alternate routes.
