Incident: DUI Driver Arrested after Roll-over Collision

Incident Summary-
On 3/29/2022, at approximately 7:02 p.m., personnel from the Petaluma Police Department and Petaluma Fire Department were dispatched to the end of Marina Ave for a reported traffic collision in which the involved vehicle had rolled over. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, later identified as Jason Moody. Moody displayed objective signs of alcohol intoxication. Witnesses observed Moody speeding through a parking lot along Marina Ave. His vehicle jumped the curb and launched into a field, just south of the parking lot. Moody continued driving in the field until his vehicle nosed into a ditch and rolled over. Medical personnel determined Moody should be transported to the hospital due to the severity of the collision. Moody was ultimately placed under arrest for DUI. After being medically cleared at a local hospital he was booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
