* Flash Flood Warning for... Christian County in southwestern Missouri... Northwestern Douglas County in southwestern Missouri... Southeastern Greene County in southwestern Missouri... Northeastern Stone County in southwestern Missouri... Webster County in southwestern Missouri... Southwestern Wright County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 100 PM CDT.

* At 907 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Southeastern Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Marshfield, Strafford, Highlandville, Rogersville and Seymour. This includes the following highways... Interstate 44 between mile markers 89 and 103. This includes the following low water crossings... Woods Fork at Woods Fork Road, Finley River at Johns Ford Road, Bull Creek at Center Road, Swan Creek at Swan Cave Road and James River at Bell Ford Road.
