National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Crockett County until 7PM this evenong. South winds 25-30 MPH with gusts up to 60 MPH expected. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles on east west oriented roadways. People should avoid being outside in forested areas around trees and branches. If possible, remain in lower levels your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.
