* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Pope County in central Arkansas... Northern Baxter County in north central Arkansas... Southeastern Boone County in north central Arkansas... Northwestern Fulton County in north central Arkansas... Marion County in north central Arkansas... Newton County in north central Arkansas... Northwestern Searcy County in north central Arkansas... Johnson County in western Arkansas...

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 143 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen over the past several hours. Additional moderate rainfall is expected to continue. As a result...flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mountain Home, Clarksville, Bull Shoals, Yellville, Jasper, Gassville, Lamar, Flippin, Lakeview in Baxter County, Knoxville, Hartman, Western Grove, Pyatt, Valley Springs, Arkawana, Dugger, Carver, Piercetown, Pruitt and Eula.
