March 21st
Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon
1200 block Crescent Heights Blvd
03/21/2022 @ 1630. A woman was driving her vehicle when a man ran into traffic while holding a large rock. The suspect threw the rock into the front driver’s side window, which caused the window to shatter and the rock to hit the victim on her arm. The suspect fled the area on foot. #01665

9000 block Melrose Avenue
03/21/2022 @ 0853. An unknown suspect gained access to the interior and removed six bottles of cognac from the bar area. #01664

1100 block La Cienega Blvd
03/21/2022 @ 2230. A man used an unlocked rear door to gain entry and then pried a door open to gain access to the manager’s office. An employee found the suspect inside the office and a brief struggle ensued before the suspect fled the area on foot. #01682
 
Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested)
8700 block Dorrington Avenue
03/21/2022 @ 1830. A man jumped over a fence and used a rear patio door to gain entry and removed clothing from the bedroom. The homeowner yelled at the suspect and he fled the area on foot. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #01670

03/22/2022 @ 1500. A woman was walking to her car inside the parking garage when a man approached and began to ask her questions. The victim told the suspect to stop bothering her and he threatened to kill her. A bystander sitting in his car saw what was happening and intervened. A short struggle ensued, during which the suspect and the victim exchanged punches before the suspect pulled a handgun and pointed it at the victim and threatened to kill him. #01690

03/22/2022 @ 1100-2330. An unknown suspect pried the front door open to gain access and ransacked the interior. The suspect removed an IPad and two cell phones from the residence. #01739

Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
8500 block West Knoll Drive
03/23/2022 @ 0308. A man stabbed another man during a fight that occurred outside the residence of victim’s ex-girlfriend. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #01703

03/23/2022 @ 2000-2016. An unknown suspect smashed the sliding glass door to gain entry and ransacked the bedroom. The victim was unsure if anything was taken at the time of the report. #01724

03/23/2022 @ 2014. A man smashed the sliding glass door to gain entry and removed an electric scooter from the living room. #01726

03/24/2022 @ 0345. A man removed a handbag containing an IPad and $500 cash from the living room after being invited into the residence by the victim. #01738

03/24/2022 – 03/26/2022. An unknown suspect removed an unsecured bicycle from the sub parking garage of the apartment complex. #01798

1200 block N. La Brea Avenue
03/24/2022 @ 1413. A man removed an 18-pack of beer from a display area and attempted to leave the store without payment. Store security asked to see a receipt for the beer and the suspect became upset and pulled a screwdriver from his pocket and was sprayed with mace. The suspect returned the beer and was allowed to leave by security. #01734

03/24/2022 – 03/26/2022. An unknown suspect removed two cameras and camera equipment from the trunk. No sign of forced entry. #01768

Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)

03/25/2022 @ 1410. A man threw a bottle of alcohol at two victims while they were walking their dog on the sidewalk. The bottle missed the victims and shattered on the wall behind them. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #01754

03/25/2022 @ 0117-0125. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone from victim’s backpack while inside the club. #01772

03/25/2022 @ 0022. A man was getting into his vehicle when two men approached him while armed with a handgun and a rifle and demanded his property. The victim ran away and the suspects fled the area. #01746

03/26/2022 @ 0130. An unknown suspect forced the driver’s side door open and removed sunglasses from the center console. The suspect also removed a backpack containing a laptop computer and clothing from the trunk. #01765

03/26/2022 @ 2050-2100. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a passport and hygiene products from the interior. #01775

03/27/2022 @ 2150. A man accused the victim of taking his wallet and he denied it. The suspect became upset and stabbed the victim in the chest and then fled the area on foot. #01786

03/27/2022 @ 0200. An unknown suspect removed a wallet from the victim’s purse after the purse was left momentarily unattended inside the club. #01793
