Voluntary evacuation west side Ricardo Riviera

Good evening Kleberg County, As we all know we have been fighting multiple fires throughout the day trying our hardest to protect our community. I am hereby ordering a “volunteer“ Evacuation of both West sides of Ricardo and Rivera Texas until further notice We currently have multiple counties rendering fire assistance, we have the Texas Forestry task force, we have air support, we have the King Ranch, we have the Naval air station, the City Of Kingsville fire department, and both Rivera and Ricardo fire departments on board.   Please contact our human services Director David Garcia for anyone needing immediate Shelter at +1 (361) 228-1892.   Rest assured, Kleberg County will be working throughout the night until this fire is contained to ensure the safety of everyone. Please look out for your neighbors and contact the sheriffs department immediately for anyone you think is in need of assistance.
