Alert

Possible Garbage Service Impacts for the Week of April 4-8

Due to an equipment failure at the Kitsap County Olympic View Transfer Station the City of Poulsbo may have to alter or suspend some solid waste service for the week of April 4-8.

At this time the current solid waste schedule is as follows:

  • Monday routes – both commercial and residential - normal operations
  • Tuesday routes – both commercial and residential - normal operations
  • Wednesday routes – both commercial and residential - tentative normal operations . A decision on this will be made Tuesday afternoon
  • Thursday and Friday routes – if the Olympic View Transfer Station is not back in service, we may have to suspend garbage service at this time.
The City of Poulsbo is hoping that we can continue service all week as normal and are actively working on ways to make this happen.

We will update this schedule as soon as possible.
