Wind Advisory until 08:00PM Thursday

* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph to 50 mph expected. Strongest winds will occur below the Cajon Pass. For the Heat Advisory, temperatures 97 to 100 degrees expected. Heat will peak Thursday and Friday.

* WHERE...San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 6 AM Wednesday to 8 PM PDT Thursday. For the Heat Advisory, from 11 AM Wednesday to 6 PM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses to occur.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SAN BERNARDINO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTY VALLEYS-THE INLAND EMPIRE

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
