* WHAT...Sustained northwest winds 30 to 40 MPH with gusts up to 55 MPH expected.
* WHERE...In Kansas, Jewell, Osborne and Mitchell Counties. In Nebraska, Polk, York, Fillmore and Thayer Counties.
* WHEN...From 10 AM to 8 PM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and possibly power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At least patchy blowing dust and minor visibility restrictions will be possible during the high winds.
