...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT FOR PORTIONS
OF BRYAN...EFFINGHAM...CHATHAM AND JASPER COUNTIES...

At 540 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Eden, moving east
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

Locations impacted include:
Pooler, Springfield, Savannah International Airport, Godley Station,
Downtown Savannah, Rincon, Garden City, Port Wentworth, Hardeeville,
Bloomingdale, Guyton, Eden, Tarboro, Stillwell and Purysburgh.

This warning includes the following interstates:
 I-16 between mile markers 140 and 154.
 I-516 between mile markers 8 and 9.
 I-95 in South Carolina between mile markers 2 and 13.
 I-95 in Georgia between mile markers 102 and 112.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
