* At 627 PM EDT, a tornado producing storm was located over Miley, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include: Saint George, Colleton, Harleyville, Reevesville, Smoaks, Lodge, Williams, Crocketville, Ruffin, Miley, Ashton, Canadys, Islandton, Padgetts and Almeda Intersection. This warning includes the following interstates: I-26 between mile markers 172 and 174. I-95 in South Carolina between mile markers 60 and 82.
