**UPDATE** LASD Homicide Detectives Responded to a Stabbing Death Investigation, 13500 block of Maie Ave, Los Angeles
Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 45 year old Black man in unincorporated Los Angeles.
Century Station deputies responded to a residence in the 13500 block of Maie Avenue regarding a call of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim lying unresponsive in the driveway of the residence. The victim, who appeared to have sustained a stab wound, was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators learned the victim had stopped his pick up truck on Maie Avenue. He became involved in a physical altercation with an unknown male. At some point the victim sustained apparent stab wounds and ran to the nearby residence and pled for help. Residents called 911.
There is no suspect or suspect description at this time. The murder weapon remains outstanding. This murder is being investigated as gang related.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the intersection of 8600 block of Maie Ave, Los Angeles regarding a stabbing death investigation. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 5rd, 2022 at approximately 6:44 p.m.
The male adult victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
