* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning today, northwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph expected. For Thursday, northwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts of 60 to 65 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and central and south central Nebraska.
* WHEN...The High Wind Warning for both today and Thursday is in effect from 7 AM through 8 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and possibly power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At least patchy blowing dust and minor visibility restrictions will be possible during the high winds.
