The National Weather Service in Pueblo continues a Red Flag Warning from 9 AM to 9 PM today and has issued a Red Flag Warning for Thursday, which is in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM MDT.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 224...226...227...228... 229...230...231...232...233...234...235...236 and 237.

* Winds...North to northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 60 mph. The strongest winds are expected across the far southeast Plains.

* Timing...Winds increasing this morning and persisting through the late evening hours. Winds are expected to diminish tonight but increase again later Thursday morning and then continue through early Thursday evening.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 9 percent.

* Impacts...Conditions will be favorable for rapid rates of fire growth and spread today and again on Thursday.
